What is the difference between Bright Awake with and without caffeine?Updated 8 months ago
Unbound caffeine is the active ingredient found in regular coffee. "Unbound" is a little misleading, as it is nevertheless bound to a so-called "chlorogenic acid-potassium complex". On contact with stomach acid, however, the caffeine is released directly.
The capsules without unbound caffeine also contain caffeine, but in bound form. Here, the caffeine is contained in, for example, matcha and guarana. The caffeine is attached to polyphenols so that it is only released in the intestine.
