What can be the side effects?

The most common side effects caused by intestinal cultures are flatulence and/or diarrhea or constipation. However, this can also be a so-called "initial aggravation".

When taking bacterial strains combined with dietary fiber, it is not uncommon to experience some gastrointestinal discomfort at the beginning. Our Dailybacs are highly dosed. In almost all cases, the body adapts to this new situation after a few days by simply absorbing more air in the intestine, so that the initial bloating disappears within a few days.

As we all have a unique microbiome, some people may not be able to tolerate a particular strain of bacteria. Even with the highest quality products, there is a small chance that a person may not react well to a particular strain of bacteria. It is also possible that the Dailybacs are dosed too high and a lower amount of colony forming units may be better tolerated. If you wish, you can continue taking the Dailybacs or taper them off a little (with half a dose). You can do this simply by carefully opening the capsule and stirring half of the powder it contains into yoghurt or water.
